The guest speaker has given me more light to see the truth of what is going on in the world. I have always known that I am lucky to be born in the US and how people are living in other countries. Over the past summer, my family and I took a scheduled trip to Europe and it turned out to be better than what I could ever have known it to be. Then when you learn to look beyond the tourist attraction and what you see, you can really see how their life is really like. After experiencing this and comparing it to what we see in the US, it really does open your eyes to everyone. You see things now in a very different light and you do not take anything for granted.
What she has talked about made me kinda wish to be there to experience things for myself. To see and to know what she saw and felt, to fully understand. Even though I have seen it in my own eyes over the summer, just listening to her talk and picturing what she said in my head, it's a revelation. Even the fact that I was hearing all of this from a real Halacaust survivor couldn't make this any more real. I'm really priveleged to have that day happen to me because it's the things like those that make us open our eyes to what is truly around us. I just wish more people would understand that fact.

My Strengths
The term use it or lose it is true. If I don't work on my strength, then I wont use them, and eventually I'll lose them. My strengths have molded me to the person I am today and I am very happy with who I have become. If I don't use my strengths or work on it, then I'm not helping myself become a better person or excelling in life. The strengths are a part of me and I don't want to lose a part of me.
What I can do this semester to build my strength is to be involved with my alpha group, school, and things outside of school like my friends, families, or work. Since life is unpredictable, when i apply my strengths in various things I can help to build it with different situations. Then evolving it and making it stronger, better, and more effective. It can also help me to learn more abou myself and will help me in my future and my career.

My Theme Report
My theme report says that I am strategic, adaptable, relator, includer, and connectedness. I agree with all of them and here's why.
I agree with the strategic because I do look at all the options and see what happens if I take a certain option. Then I eliminate the ones that lead to a dead end or get me nowhere. Then I can also see certain patterns and then remember it for future uses and it has helped me many times to predict the outcome of many things. I look at a situation like a puzzle thrown into a maze, I see all the paths I can take but with the clues that I have picked up can use them to get a closer look to where each path will take me.
Then it says I have adaptability. I couldn't agree more because I do live in the moment. My motto is to stick out yet blend in and I've done that for many years and it's been great. Some peeopl believe that your future and destiny is set and there's nothing that you can do about it. To me, I say so what if your future is set, it doesn't mean that you can't do what you want to do because of fear that it might ruin the future laid out for you. If it was meant to happen then it will happen. I am also a very flexible person that can go with the flow so easy it's like I was born to be in whatever group or activity I decide to join. Although I don't have that driven need to fit in or to be liked or dislike the thought of people disliking me, I still manage to stay on people's good side and fit in.
I think most people would agree that I am a relator because when they come to me with their problems or ask for my advice, I can easily put myself in their situation and be able to give them the answer they want or the answer that would help out their situation. This theme has helped me be closer with many of my friends and I am so thankful because they helped me out the way I have helped them out. There are so many things that I have to thnk my friends because I think the ones who have helped me out a lot are relators too. Everything they say makes so much sense and I sometimes can't believe that I didn't think of that.
The includer, I never would have not believed that this would be me until I read the dscription for it. Then I became a believer. Looking back at all those times where I was in an unknown group or when I would be with two sets of my friends. That when I see someon who seems to be out of the loop I would try to drag them in whether they liked it or not. Although they may have hated me at the beginning for doing that even I didn't know them, the seemed to be enjoying themselves at the end and have forgotten that they were angry at me. I walk around and when I see someone who doesn't fit it, I just want to go over there and try to encourage them to make friends or something. I do think that everyone is equal and yet so very different and that they all want the same thing. To be accepted amoung friends and to still be able to stand out.
Being connected is what I strongly feel throughout every aspect of my life. This, I guess is what has to do with my other philosophy that there are no such things as coincidence. Everything does happen for a reason even if you don't see it now and no matter how irrelevent or how small. It's still a reason that could be connected to something bigger. This is the big part of me that LOVES to think outside the box, to quesiton everything in this world and makes good assumptions and guesses on why things happen. This is the deeper part of me that I love to talk about but people now a days don't want to bother themselves with things like this. Life's mysteries and how people and their thoughts and what makes them tick is what sustains me and drives me. It's all those things that people don't really think about that interest me. Even though I may not know the truth of it all anytime soon, it's just something that's fun to think about.

Who am I?
My name is Reynaley. My name is a combination of my parent's first name, Reynaldo and Shirley. I live in West Covina and make very strange friends but I'm proud of it. They may not be the type of people from a view that you would not want to be asociated with. Although I would not have it any other way.
Many things go wrong in my life but I've learned to cope with it or attempt to make things better. One way of me doing that is by just writing it in stories of my own or by mainly just writing it in a poem or journal.
I write all my thoughts and feeling in my journal about anything that catches my mind. Or if I have a strong or opinion about it. The topic varies from something simple as a style of clothing to my theories of life in general. I like to get into discussions of things that people don't necessarily think about daily or things that don't even cross their minds. I love to think and analyse things even though some things just shouldn't be analyzed. It's what keeps life interesting.
